Board certified plastic surgeons emphasize on patient education with any surgical procedure, such as breast reduction. During the pre-operative consultation, your surgeon will determine whether you are a suitable candidate for the procedure. If not, they will explore alternative options for meeting your unique needs.
The surgeon will commence with the plastic surgery if they feel that the breast reduction procedure is the most beneficial way of obtaining your aesthetic or functional goals. They will discuss all aspects of the surgery to help you make a well-informed choice. You can be more prepared by knowing what to expect before, during and after the procedure.
Vinings Surgery Center, led by board certified plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Colgrove, provides breast reduction surgery to patients in Atlanta, Marietta, Georgia, and surrounding locations.
